Every intercity pair, priced before you ask

The ledger lists each city pair we drive, the road distance, the typical door-to-door duration and the fixed fare band for that vehicle class. Nothing in the table changes at pickup: the band you read is the band you pay, with no surge on holidays, night departures or bookings made an hour before the car arrives.

How a fare band is set

Each band is calculated once from three inputs: the return distance measured on the planned corridor, the vehicle class assigned to that pair, and the average toll, parking and checkpoint time recorded over the last twenty completed trips. Bands are per vehicle, not per seat, and already include fuel, the driver's waiting allowance and the first sixty minutes of free waiting at the pickup address.

Cross-border pairs are the exception. They are marked quoted on request, because the applicable crossing and local licensing conditions decide the total. Those requests are handled on the booking form instead of the table.

When estimates are refreshed

Border wait ranges carry a timestamp and are re-read from the checkpoint queue feeds every thirty minutes; the timestamp sits beside each range in the border notes. Road distance and duration are reviewed each quarter, and any permanent change to a band is published here before it applies to new bookings.

Every crossing figure shown on this page is presented as data with a visible timestamp, never as a promise. A wait value is the median queue we observed at that checkpoint over the previous 24 hours, not a guaranteed clearance time.

How the estimates are built: We read median queue length and processing speed at each checkpoint, then publish the result with the time it was refreshed. When a reading goes stale, the board says so rather than guessing.
Crossing times vary: Seasonal traffic, shift changes, cargo backlogs and document checks can add hours without warning. A quoted wait describes the queue as it looked, not as it will look when your car reaches the barrier.
Documents stay with the passenger: Passports, visas, powers of attorney for the vehicle and travel permits are carried and presented by the passenger. The driver cannot check, hold or amend them, and boarding is refused when papers are incomplete.
Cross-border trips are quoted on request: Availability depends on the applicable crossing and on local licensing conditions, so a cross-border fare is confirmed manually instead of being published as a fixed band.
